Elopements no longer refer to running off in secrecy. Back in the day, elopements meant one of two things:
1) Going to the courthouse and signing a marriage license
2) Running to Vegas in secrecy and having Elvis marry you
Listen, I’m not shaming either because fun fact: my in laws got married in Vegas with Elvis and I’m honestly sad I wasn’t there to see it! The photos look like they had a great time (well, the few photos they have, anyways!)
But nowadays, elopements are this simple: two people, with as much fluff or as little fluff as you want, but with none of the stress of a traditional wedding. We can literally go ANYWHERE you’d like. I help you pick the location, create a timeline full of intention and traditions that only feel right to who you are as a couple and celebrate in the love you share. Whether you bring all 25 people or just the two of you, I won’t charge you extra. It’s about the experience and so long as you are focused on the intention of the day about being fun and romantic, I’m in!
So what might that look like?
Here’s a fun little snippet of just ONE of the MANY different elopement scenarios you could do.
Wake up, make breakfast together at a cute airbnb near your chosen elopement site. Get ready in separate rooms. Have an emotional first look with me where I take images of this unfolding. Head to ceremony site. SAY I DO! Maybe play guitar, pop champagne, hike a 14’er… whatever you want! From here, you can choose to have a reception with family and friends, or forego that and have an intimate dance in the desert following your elopement and take sunset portraits with me showing off your new bling. Maybe drive to an In N Out and drink milkshakes with your new spouse, go horseback riding together up a mountain, literally NO WRONG ANSWERS here.
People choose to do this often times in a sentimental place near them, or they make a trip out of it and go anywhere in the world!

Aside from being a mushy person who loves love, I also love exploring and scenic destinations and travel. I have lived in Colorado for my entire life, which means I know it and the surrounding states very well. Aside from that, I spend time truthfully getting to know who my couples are as people, so that I can curate a day that encompasses your love, just like my love and I did! We got married this year in Moab with a very intimate ceremony and it was magical. The experience was only exactly what I wanted it to be and maybe didn’t live up to other people’s expectations of what we SHOULD HAVE done, but it was even better because it felt so blissful and intimate, which is exactly what I want to create for you. It’s not about the photos (don’t worry, we will get some epic shots,) but for me, it’s about guiding you through an experience that feels completely true to who you are. I will take you to a beautiful place, whether that’s in my home state of Colorado in the mountains, the salt flats of Utah, Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, or the canyons in Arizona, I will handle all of the permits, help you build a FUN timeline, and travel with you wherever your heart desires, all while tailoring the experience to you and getting some bomb ass photos while we’re at it!
